More than just a party.

Mushroom Valley is more than just a party, it is a community. A place where you can grow, learn and connect with other like minded people. A place where you can come and be revitalised and re-energised to go out and take on the "real" world. There are plenty of workshops for the young and old in the healing village as well as massage and reiki. Over the weekend the music will range through many genres.

What we are passionate about

At MV Productions, one of our core values is creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone — from families to festival-goers of all ages.

We take this commitment seriously, with a dedicated team of security and medical professionals onsite at all times. You'll also find Harm Minimisation workshops, friendly Care Pixies, Camp Guardians, and volunteer lifeguards ready to support you throughout the event.

We believe in community care — looking out for one another and stepping in when someone needs help. If you see someone who appears unwell or in distress, please don’t hesitate to alert a staff member or volunteer. We’re all in this together.

Leave No Trace

Respect the Land – Reduce Your Waste

Each year, Mushroom Valley grows stronger — and so do you. Let’s keep improving together by doing a few simple things to protect this beautiful space:

  • Pack Smart: Only bring what you need and remember, you must take everything home with you. Plan ahead to reduce your waste before you even arrive.

  • Sort Your Waste: Set up separate bins or bags at your camp for:

    • Compost

    • 10c refundables (we’ll collect these!)

    • Recyclables

    • General waste
Don’t mix food scraps with other rubbish — it creates harmful gases and mess.

  • Stay Hydrated Sustainably: Bring water in large reusable containers. Avoid single-use anything! Stainless steel bottles are available at the Info Tent and the front gate.

  • Bin Your Butts: Cigarette butts are the most common waste we collect. They don’t break down. Use butt bins — even in camp — and be a responsible smoker.

  • Make Eco Bricks: Stuff clean hard plastics into a bottle to create compact “eco bricks” for Earthship-style building (yes, it’s a thing!). Collect soft plastics and take them to RedCycle bins at Coles or Woolies after the festival.

  • Bring Reusables: Plate, bowl, cup, mug, cutlery, straw — bring your own. Food vendors accept them, and it cuts down on single-use waste (especially coffee cups!).

  • Leave No Trace: Do a final sweep (aka an “emu parade”) before you leave. Pick up everything! Butts, pegs, sequins, string, feathers, wrappers etc. Let’s protect the wildlife that lives here.

  • Dispose Responsibly: Take your rubbish with you and dispose of it properly — at home or at a recycling centre. Never dump it!

If we each take care of our own footprint, we all leave the land better than we found it. Let’s do this together. 🌱
